Wings of Flight
by Sharon Kortas
When all was quiet
And we were sad
Thinking of the
Times we'd had
A butterfly
Then came to us
Flew around
Without a rush
Showed us how
He'd been set free
Drifting off
Where we can't see
Helped us know
He's on his way
We'll treasure this
Each passing day.

GEMMA
July 29, 1987- October 8, 2002
Gemma, you were such a loyal
friend
Every day from beginning to end
When your owner passed away
With me it was you came to stay
Despite being nearly aged eleven
When poor Bernard went to Heaven
You settled in almost straight away
And made my house a home in a day
When at work, you were always glad
To spend the day with your very new Dad
Then along came Pippa, a new little pup
With her enthusiasm she chivied you up
And you appeared younger day by day
However that wasn't really the way
For we found that you had the big 'C'
You fought it with such bravery
When you were in too much pain
It came the time to unite again
You with your very first Dad
That day was unbelievably sad
Now memories of you fill my head
You're with me from morning 'til bed
Rest in peace Gemma

Love Mummy, Daddy and Pippa |

WOODY

|

|
We still can hear the pitter
pat of your little feet
We still can see your face, oh so sweet
Woody the Westie is a forever friend
And you will be in our hearts until the end
You are now in no pain you are free to run
You can spend your days chasing the golden sun
This is not a final goodbye
As we look up at your star in the sky!

MILO
June 22, 2002 ~ October 18, 2002

|
"My four month old
puppy, Milo, passed away after battling pneumonia for several weeks.
For the two months that I had him, he was the best thing in my life --smart, playful,
loving, and mischievous.
He's broken the hearts of many people by leaving us so soon, but we know he's in a better
place
where he never has to pee on the New York Times and he can chew all the furniture he
wants.
I just want him to be remembered for the life he never really got to have."

nor resources, nor commodities, but precious beings in God's sight".
