Westmont Fire Department

    The Westmont Borough Fire Department, under the direction of the Fire Chief Donald Blasko and Emergency Services Administrator, Brian Havas, has 30 active members.

    The Westmont Fire Department, Westmont Borough Council, and Hilltop Ambulance Association have teamed up and hired an Emergency Services Administrator to manage the fire and ambulance companies and provide daylight fire protection.  A Public Works Department employee, who also holds the office of Fire Chief, along with a crew of two from the Hilltop Ambulance Association who are cross-trained in both fire suppression and emergency medical procedures, supplement the Emergency Services Administrator during daylight responses.

    The Department provides fire prevention presentations to civic, community groups, and the general public.  All personnel continuously upgrade skills by participating in local, county, state, and nationally certified training programs.
