The Wisconsin Mfd Home Owners Association  encourages you NOT to BUY a manufactured home. The building process, both on-site and in the factories, is about cutting corners—using inferior quality sheathing, cutting boards too short to meet in the center of studs—problems that promote irregular air exchange within a house and which eventually produce growth of mold and excessive heating bills. 

Additional problems:  fraud, misdealing, false statement, improper assembly, illegally based seizure of homes, defective set up, worthless warranties, and suspect consumer protection.  

If you are unfortunate enough to get caught in this malignant Pandora's Box as an unsuspecting consumer, you will find yourself immersed in an endless war that will consume the rest of your life and your life's income. You will get no satisfaction from HUD or even some legislators and state agencies because many have been corrupted by the MH industry—they have been bought off with big money and the heady power of control over millions of victims.

Every third Wednesday of the month, Middle School  in Marshall, School Street (east) intersects with County T.    Summer meetings (June,July,Aug) have been suspended, except for elections every two years in July.   6:30 PM.   Minimum $1 donation requested.   However, call 608/655-4573 to verify location of monthly meetings, which are sometimes held in an officer's home.

Election of officers is held every even-numbered  (second) year in July at our regular meeting.   Only members may run for office after one year.   Members in good standing (paid up) may vote by proxy or in person.  Proxies need to be post-marked 10 days before July's 3^rd Wednesday.    Ballot proxies not postmarked by that time frame will be invalid.    The proxy mail-in coupon will be published in the 1^st and 2^nd quarterly newsletter prior to the July meeting.   A quorum of votes will be needed to hold a valid election.    If no quorum results, officers will be asked to volunteer indefinitely until such time as enough volunteers warrant an election.   Contact WIMHOA to ask for a copy of our Bylaws and Constitution--for the purpose of starting a Chapter or because you are a member of a Chapter.
