Introduction to the Kiwanis Club
of Carrollton "Golden K"

Kiwanis Club of Carrollton Golden K was organized June l, l994, and chartered August 10, l994.  Its members are individuals who give a little of their time and resources to make Carrollton, Carroll County and the world a better place to live.

We have adopted the "Young Children: Priority One" theme as the club's major emphasis for giving.  Since l994, we have given more than four hundred thousand dollars to projects on the local level such as the Salvation Army, Ferst Foundation, St. Margaret's Outreach, Camp Sunshine, Carroll County CASA, Neva Lomason Library, and boy and girl scouts (to name a few) to help the youth and families in our area plus District and International causes.  A partial list of recipients* receiving funds from the Pancake Breakfast for 2010 - 2011 is available. 


The members of the club hold a weekly morning meeting Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. at the Carrollton Presbyterian Church, 14 Maple Street, Carrollton.
