Rev. Willie James Morgan, Jr. is the Pastor of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Elmore, Alabama. Rev. Morgan was birthed in the ministry under the leadership of the Late Rev. Timothy Robinson on March 24, 2002 at the Second Missionary Baptist Church of Wetumpka, Alabama. He was ordained in the ministry on September 12, 2004. Prior to pasturing First Baptist, Rev. Morgan served in various capacities as a musician throughout Elmore, Macon, and Montgomery counties. He served Second Baptist as Youth Minister, Minister of Music and Interim Pastor at Second Baptist. He served as interim as Pulpit Conductor at Jerusalem Baptist Church, Montgomery, Alabama. Rev. Morgan is member of the Global Word Fellowship Church (An international fellowship of church.), Montgomery, Alabama, and Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Wetumpka, Alabama, both under the leadership of Bishop Frank T. and Pastor Hurdis Bozeman. He serves as GWF’s assistant to the Bishop. He is in fellowship with the Price Road Missionary Baptist Church, Phoenix City, Alabama, under the leadership of Dr. Clarence M. Richardson. Rev. Morgan is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in finance, Troy University with a Masters of Business Administration, and Global Evangelical Christian College and Seminary with a Masters of Divinity. He is currently pursuing a D.Min. He is employed with the FDIC. He currently employed with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as a Financial Institution Specialist. |
