This is a fan script written by myself for the first pilot episode of the TV series V (2009). I have converted it into a PFD file if you wish to download it

Why
I like science fiction TV in general, and I watched the old V miniseries when I was a kid. I recorded the pilot V episode and finally got around to watching it the weekend before Thanksgiving, and I kept thinking - I can do a better job than that, with apologies to Scott Peters and Kenneth Johnson. So over this past Thanksgiving holiday, while my wife was cooking the turkey, I wrote my version of what I thought the V pilot should have been.
To start with, I made a list of the things I hated most about the pilot episode.
Assumptions
I didn't have a Series Bible to follow so I had to make some guesses. Also, I assummed most of the main characters had already been hired so I kept them. At least for this episode.
