Club News
The club is now meeting twice a month - the first and third Wednesdays at 7pm! The "rent fee" has also been rolled back to $1/meeting.
On October 13 the club hosted an open house show and sell event at the Energy Site. Several members displayed their work and carved during the show. The event was quite successful; we had several visitors and signed up a couple of new members. It was also an opportunity for several members to show off the work they have done on the Royal Wedding display. Thanks to Corky for donating a carving for the door raffle.

With all the seminars that are scheduled this fall/winter there will not be any more Saturday carving the remainder of this year.
Sunshine report: Great to see Barb Smith and Jim Leifeld recovering and back at the club meetings.
Club elections were held at the November 7th meeting. Rich Weitzman, President; Ray Plodzien, VP; Bob Craven, Treasurer; Barb Smith, Sec; and Bob Berg & Al Westfall, Directors. Thanks for serving.
Wyatt Sample, Jim Leifeld, Barb Smith, Bill Kuhn, and Corky Breece will serve on a committee to plan a club show in 2008.
The Christmas party is scheduled for December 5th. Keep the date open on your calendar and start making that ornament for the exchange. The club will provide meat, cheese, bread, utensils, and drinks. Club members are asked to bring a dish to share with others.
The club will not meet on December 17th.
We are still looking for the missing video tape on chip carving by Roger Moore. Please return the tape if you have it.
