The weather has warmed up and the steelhead are showing up in the rivers now, we have had a little rain and so I went out fishing the Boyne River at Boyne City, Michigan this morning and managed to catch a nice 3 lb. hen steelhead. I saw several fish but this was the only one that bit, it fell for a single egg on a tiny tear-drop jig drift fished under a bobber.

I was using an eleven and a half foot noodle rod spooled up with 4 lb. test line, also tried wigglers but no luck using them.
