Noodles with Shallots and Peas

1 8 oz. bag old fashioned Pennsylvania Dutch noodles
1 cup frozen or caned peas
2 large shallots thinly sliced, or several thinly sliced onions
2 tablespoons butter or Margarine
Salt and pepper

 Cook noodles according to directions, stir in frozen peas, drain in colander, rinse with cold water. Heat butter in skillet over medium heat. Add shallots or onions , cook about 3-4 minutes. Add noodles, toss until hot, add salt and pepper. (May need additional butter for noodles.)
