Like bards, rangers are of Faerie origin, but exist in both cultures. In this age there are two factions of rangers. Some are made up entirely of Faerie races and are zealously loyal to the Druids. These are called the Green Rangers. The other faction is dedicated to maintaining the peace between the two societies of fey and human. They are called the Gray Rangers, and are made up equally of humans and fey. The Gray Rangers are based in human lands, although they travel to Faerie regularly. They have strained relation with the Druids and their green brethren, but good relations with the fianna. Likewise, they have strained revelations with the church in Iconium, but good relations with the nobility. Many noble bloodlines run through the gray rangers. As one might imagine, the clothing she wears identifies a ranger's faction. There are some rangers that go their own way - they are few in number, but fiercely independent. Rule 0: Rangers may choose to take Point-Blank Shot and Precise Shot instead of Two-Weapon Fighting and Ambidexterity as class features. Just as with the normal features, these can only be used while wearing light or no armor. This choice must be made at 1st level and cannot be reversed.
