Rogue

Rogues, like fighters, are universal. With its large skill base, the rogue class can also be used to represent spies, politicians and nobles. When representing one of these professions, please choose skills that are reasonable. Not many barons receive training in disabling traps and escape artist, etc.

Rogue Archetypes in Iconium

Criminal - Where there are sheep, there are wolves.

Politician - Nobles from the themes or the old country make excellent rogues. While may of the rogue skills such as disable device are less useful in court, the machiavellian intrigues of the court make excellent use of their subterfuge skills - backstabbing with all of its possible meanings.

Rogue Archetypes in Faerie

Trickster - The freebooter who thinks on his feet and lives by his wits is a well-loved fixture of faerie lore. While no one loves to be fooled or scammed, a well-executed con will get grudging respect of the fey. Even more so if no or only minor magics are involved - and no one was seriously injured.

Sharpshooter - Elves are the masters of the bow. Some elven archers master striking from concealment, usually in the trees. These elves are much feared.
